A safety instrumented system (SIS) consists of an engineered set of hardware and software controls which are especially used on critical process systems. The SIS system is used to monitor the condition of values and parameters of a plant within the operational limits and, when risk conditions occur, they must trigger alarms and place the plant in a safe condition or even at the shutdown condition.
VATCOM is proud to be one of the few Vietnam companies who's able to implement SIS system. Our group of engineers have participated in SIS system training courses of Emerson Process Management, Rockwell Automation and especially being certified as Functional Safety Engineer by TUV Rheinland.
