The PCME VIEW 580 is a cross-stack optical system suitable for monitoring particle emissions from combustion boilers and emissions controlled by electrostatic precipitators.

Process Conditions

  • The PCME VIEW 580 is suitable for:
  • Stacks after bag filters, cartridge filters, cyclones, or no filter
  • Electro-filters, e.g. electrostatic precipitators
  • Non-condensing / dry flue gases*
  • Variable flue gas velocities, including low velocity flue gases
  • Variable particulate size and type

Performance 

  • Measurement capability: 10 - 1000 mg/m3
  • Response time: 2 seconds
  • Long term zero drift: < 0.1 mg/m3
  • Inspection frequency: 6 months
  • Stack diameters: 1 - 10m
  • Stack temperature: -25 to 250°C (option to 400°C)
  • Humidity: Up to 90% non-condensing
